Artist bio
Influenced by 70’s and 80’s educational documentaries, Aphex Twin, Eno, Cocteau Twins, David Lynch, Acid Folk, New Age cassettes and the nature he grew up around on the Isle of Wight - Subliminal Cherry inhabits a hazy world of tape-saturated ambient dream music, left-field pop and experimental electronics. At its centre is the Soma Terra, a wooden synth played through touch and movement, surrounded by layered falsetto vocals and sounds that drift between beautiful, strange and discordant.
