ARTKILLS
Helsingissä vuonna 2020 perustettu ARTKILLS on noussut nopeasti tulevaisuuden suomalaisen modernin metallin terävimpään kärkeen.
Yhtyeen soundi rakentuu raskaiden riffien, tarttuvien groovejen ja vahvojen melodioiden ympärille yhdistellen uudistuvaa metallimaailmaa ja tinkimätöntä old school -asennetta tavalla, joka erottuu välittömästi.
Ensijulkaisu Last Goodbyes kasvatti bändin ympärille nopeasti kiinnostusta ja toi mukanaan kymmeniä tuhansia striimejä.
Seuraava single The Fall vahvisti ARTKILLSin profiilia entisestään ja toi yhtyeelle ensimmäisen musiikkivideon, jonka ohjasi mm. Battle Beastin videoista tunnettu Esa Jussila.
Myöhemmät julkaisut – The Game, remix-kokoelma Remix That Shi#t sekä viiden kappaleen KillGallery – EP tekivät selväksi, että ARTKILLS ei ole hetken ilmiö vaan nopeasti kehittyvä tulokas, joka tähtää korkealle.
MELANKOLIA
MELANKOLIA on oululainen murhemetalliyhtye, jonka tarina alkaa neljän ystävyksen ollessa teinejä. Elämä vei jäsenet kymmeneksi vuodeksi eri suuntiin, kunnes vuoden 2024 lopulla kerran kuopattu bändi päätettiin aloittaa uudestaan. Ei siksi, että pitäisi palata vanhaan, vaan siksi, että jotkut asiat eivät suostu kuolemaan.
Ensimmäinen single Blue valittiin YleX:n Anne Lainto <3 Rockin viikon tulokkaaksi, ja alkuvuonna 2026 MELANKOLIA nostettiin Tulevaisuuden tekijät -listalle. KaaosZine on valinnut yhtyeen yhdeksi tämän hetken kiinnostavimmista nuorista metalliyhtyeistä.
Maaliskuussa 2026 julkaistu debyytti-EP Step 1: I Admit I’m a Melancholic on uudelleen alkaneen tarinan ensimmäinen luku.
Bändin laulut sukeltavat itseinhon, riippuvuuksien ja elämän pienten ilojen äärelle – sinne, missä kauneus ja kurjuus kulkevat käsi kädessä.
MELANKOLIA kutsuu sitä murhemetalliksi.
LUST FOR LILY
Lust For Lily perustettiin vuonna 2022 Tuusulassa ja yhtye alkoi nopeasti raivata paikkaansa maan uuden aallon metalcore-skenessä. Yhtyeen musiikki rakentuu vahvan emotionaalisen intensiteetin ja modernin raskaan tuotannon varaan, yhdistäen melodisen haavoittuvuuden teräväreunaisiin riffeihin ja dynaamisiin sovituksiin.

Helsinki-based ARTKILLS, founded in 2020, is a modern metal band whose music combines heavy riffs, danceable grooves, and memorable vocal melodies. The band members are passionate musicians, all united by a touch of old-school attitude. Together, these elements, along with the band’s distinctive sound, make a perfect addition to the modern metal scene.
The band’s debut single, Last Goodbyes, was released in September 2021. With over 50,000 streams on Spotify, the track laid a promising foundation and served as a guiding light for a band finding its place in the metal world. In November of the same year, their second single, The Fall, gained welcome media attention. Alongside the release, ARTKILLS debuted their first music video, directed and filmed by Esa Jussila, known for his work with Battle Beast.
Following the release of The Game and the Remix That Shi#t compilation, ARTKILLS dropped their five-track EP KillGallery at the end of 2022. Earlier that year, the single Don’t Follow had provided a taste of what was to come, complete with a music video. Seamlessly polished elements combined with tight guitar solos further solidified the band’s direction.
From the very start, ARTKILLS has been actively releasing music and has garnered significant media attention. In the spring of 2022, the band was named “Demo Band of the Month” by music magazine Inferno. In 2024, they were recognized by Kaaoszine as one of the most promising young metal bands of the moment. Their music has also received radio play, with Radio City spotlighting their critically acclaimed single Don’t Follow. Released in February 2024, You & I has also enjoyed airplay on Radio Rock.
Between 2023 and 2024, ARTKILLS embarked on an extensive “Modern Metal Wave” tour, performing actively across Finland and creating a significant buzz. The band sold out the Semifinal Club, located in connection with Tavastia, twice during this period—in 2023 and again in 2024. ARTKILLS has also shared the stage with groups like Kilpi, Awake Again, Merta, and Ikinä.
