Marcelle George, originally from Christchurch, is a New Zealand–born singer-songwriter based in the United States. After the 2011 earthquake, her family relocated to the U.S., a shift that would later infuse her music with themes of nostalgia, and perspective.
A multifaceted artist who writes, performs, and produces all her work, Marcelle, rooted in indie folk, weaves intimate storytelling with soft, atmospheric soundscapes.
Her projects, including Born Young and Dew, reflect her intimate songwriting, dreamy production, and deeply personal artistic world.
