Deley

Beefy grooves, airy guitars and mind-bending electronics – this is what Deley started out with back in 2012. They released their second LP, Sounds of Science in 2016 and the band has been busy playing live shows at festivals and clubs in Hungary and Europe – Samsara, S.U.N., Valley of Arts, Uncloud (Utrecht, NL) and Cobra (Bucharest, RO), among others. In spring 2018, the band went on a 7 stop tour in Germany, Holland and the Czech Republic, closing it back in Budapest at the Tilos Radio Maraton.
Deley has been a regular act on the vibrant Budapest post-rock scene, playing clubs and larger venues, augmented by live visuals to create a psychedelic experience. In recent years, they’ve supported Monkey3 (CH), Public Service Broadcasting (UK), Tides From Nebula (PL) and Sleepmakeswaves (AU).
The band released a live album in 2018, recorded January 2018 in Budapest. It is aimed to be a snapshot of what Deley sounds after several personnel changes behind the keyboards, lots of experimentation and tweaking. The album contains two previously unreleased tracks that were on the setlists for a couple years.
„Choose your reality”, their latest full length studio album was released at the end of 2023. Produced, recorded and mixed by Óperentzia’s Gábor Bánházi in Zengőkert Studio, the new material features the band’s most mature soundscapes.
