Presave Pinto Luxe out June 5! https://righteousbabe.ffm.to/kristenford-pinto-luxe
Kristen Ford is an indie rocker hailing from Franklin County, Massachusetts. Attending PVPA, Mitch Chakour (Joe Cocker) helped with some of her first chords, and studying guitar and recording under rock trailblazer June Millington (Fanny) at The Institute for the Musical Arts, Ford has collaborated with such fine homegrown artists as Sonya Kitchell, And the Kids, Naia Kete, and Jax Hollow. Her travels have taken this Western Mass girl far and wide, living in the entertainment hubs of Chicago, Boston, Nashville, and LA, and often on the road. Touring over 2,000 shows across 50 states and 10 countries, including Fenway Park and The Fillmore, San Francisco. In 2023, she signed with Righteous Babe Records, and her most recent album, "Pinto," was produced by GRAMMY winners John Driskell Hopkins (Zac Brown Band) and Ani DiFranco. Ford now calls Sacramento, California, home; its rivers remind her of Western Massachusetts, except with more Sea Lions making all kinds of joyful noise. Her personal and political anthems have been described as "arena-ready and intimate" by Rainbow Rodeo, she has been featured on syndicated radio, Woodsongs, Acoustic Cafe, and on daytime NBC. "There's no one who sounds like you, that's what I love"- Kelly Clarkson
Ford's upcoming album Sad Sac will be highly collaborative, from co-writers to her monthly patrons, the Ford "mechanics." The future of music is a wild unknown, yet there's one woman with the grit and passion to take us there together, with a guitar, road-hardened signature rasp, and a wild, wild heart.
