“At a glance, Walker’s voice and music sound like a folk-country ballad with a heavy dose of melancholy, similar to that of Noah Gundersen…Further into the songs, Walker’s voice takes on a tone matching more closely with Mike Kinsella (American Football, Owen), creating a balance that Walker has found his niche in.” - Delaney Clifford, CLTure Mag

What fans are saying
What a fantastic venue to see the amazing Charles Walker perform! His guitar skills are matched by his amazing voice and his repertoire of original songs and his tributes to other artists. We loved hearing him sing the song he created for us on Songfinch - Worth the Wait (Shari) which you can find on Spotify. His 'live' version was skillful, sung with passion, style and gravitas. There aren't enough words to express our thanks to Charles and to the wonderful staff at Happ's (especially Maddie!) for creating a memories that will last a lifetime!
Charles is back at Happ's on Friday, May 17th at 6pm and we encourage everyone to go see him, support his music and enjoy Happ's trout and country fried steak! And ask Charles to play Worth the Wait (Shari) and ask him tell his Songfinch story, he is an amazing young artist whose career is limitless!
