1blackfrend

1blackfrend delivers hook-driven indie rock with gusto. Led by Detroit-native Randi Johnson, the group's sound is loud, cathartic, and hard to shake. Relocated now to Jax and joined by Johnson's best friends Grant Nielsen and Chris Poland, the band turns dark introspection into joyful release. Their stage show insists audiences laugh as often as they scream. Built for flexibility, the band is completely at home in any room, on any gear, and on any bill. With three singles streaming on all platforms, 1blackfrend has been emerging onto the festival circuit throughout 2026 and travels to the UK this October for their first international tour.
