NELSON

While I wasn’t a follower of the band in the 90’s, I became intrigued by Matthew and Gunnar Nelson’s autobiography “What Happened to Your Hair?”, read it twice, and became an instant fan. Upon seeing they were performing in Aiken, SC (just a few hours away from my home) I knew I had to go check them out. I’m so glad I did! They performed a fantastic acoustical guitar show featuring their songs and those of their father, Rick Nelson. They told stories, made us laugh and almost made us cry a few times, and entertained us tremendously! After the show, they came out to greet us and spend a few moments with every single guest. Their professionalism was only a part of their appeal… their humbleness and gratitude for US, their audience, was the best part of a wonderful evening spent. Two of the nicest people you will ever meet. Two of the MOST talented people you will ever watch and listen to. Do not miss out on this show. I’ve been converted as a fan for life now. Oh! And grab a copy of their book. You’ll never regret it.
