OVERCAST

Born from Seattle's underground, OVERCAST emerges as a force dedicated to pushing the boundaries of modern tearout and heavy riddim.

The inspiration behind the name OVERCAST is an homage to his hometown of Seattle, but also stems from his early exposure to dark-fantasy games such as Final Fantasy and Dark Souls. In the Japanese versions of Final Fantasy, 'Overcast' was a spell wielded by fearsome and unimaginable creatures, used to kill and resurrect afflicted characters as the undead. Seamlessly infusing his vision of a dark-fantasy world with futuristic elements, OVERCAST is able to elicit feelings of darkness, aggression, intensity, and an overarching sense of mystery that reaches beyond the music.

Graduating from the renowned Icon Collective in 2024 and being mentored by Prosecute, OVERCAST has refined his sound and vision and promises to deliver relentless, heavy bass music with each release and live performance.
