Born in northern Israel, studied and became part of Amsterdam's creative music community in The Netherlands and recently relocated to Portugal. Movement is at the core of Taubenfeld's universal vision. His projects include compositions for large and small ensembles, solo work, music for film and various improvised settings. Taubenfeld's works were performed at venues and festivals across Europe, including North Sea Jazz Festival (NL), Saalfelden (A), Visual Sound (DE), Bimhuis (NL), and Jazzdor (FR) among others.
