Birdhand

BIRDHAND is a rock n' roll band from Santa Cruz, CA that is now residing in Los Angeles. The band formed in late 2010 and within a year, the group caught the attention of Bad Brains' bassist, Darryl Jenifer. BIRDHAND went on to record a debut EP, which was produced by Jenifer and since, has shared stages with bands such as Bad Brains, Baths, Memoryhouse, The Soft Pack, Judgment Day, and Bear Hands. In September of 2011, the band ventured to Los Angeles by the request of producer, Eric Valentine, to record demos in his own, Barefoot Studios. Following these sessions, BIRDHAND played routed dates throughout the United States, including support dates along the east coast with Bad Brains with plans to take up residency in Woodstock, NY to write and record. In late march the band toured across the country to make their permanent residency in Los Angeles, CA. With a plethora of new material, BIRDHAND plans to write, record, and produce a full length album under the direction of Cian Riordan that is slated to be released in the early winter of 2013.
