Brisbane rock and indie fans, mark your calendars — High Volume Fest 2.0 is landing at The Tivoli with two of Nepal's finest live acts sharing the stage for one big night.Headlining is The Elements, the Kathmandu trio who've become one of the most-loved names in modern Nepali music — known for their heartfelt songwriting, acoustic-driven sound, and the kind of storytelling live show that turns a gig into a shared experience. Joining them are Rockheads, the Kathmandu rock outfit who've spent over a decade building a reputation as one of Nepal's hardest-hitting live bands, famous for huge anthemic singles like "Ranga" and a stage show built for raising the roof.Together, the two bands cover the full spectrum of what Nepali music sounds like today — from The Elements' intimate, story-driven melodies to Rockheads' driving, arena-ready rock energy. Fun facts: -Ryan (vocals) loves photographing puppies for www.cute.com and has a passion for developing artisan cucumber waters. -Bill (bass guitar) has mastered the google image search for the most inappropriate yet humorous images to enhance digital communication. He also plays disc golf. -Greg (drums) has been trying to find the secret to communicating with hamsters for years. The challenge as he describes it is from maintaining solid eye contact as hamsters because have very short attention spans. -Jon (guitar) likes to chase cars while alerting them to the pursuit with a friendly bark and when done taking a roll around in some mud. Shatteringly loud Hudson River Filth-rock. This is both a description and a genre.
