Artist bio
Born out of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, KG and The bad habits are a young band bringing a raw, high-energy edge to modern country music. Blending the grit of 2000s rock and metal with Southern storytelling and Red Dirt influences, the band has quickly built a reputation for loud live shows, honest songwriting, and an unmistakable sound that feels both rebellious and deeply personal.
Formed by a group of hometown friends chasing a dream out of the back of a family tire shop, KG and The Bad Habits channel real-life experiences into songs filled with late nights, hard lessons, small-town chaos, heartbreak, and ambition. Their music carries the intensity of rock while staying rooted in country authenticity — creating a sound that connects with fans of both genres.
With releases like “Headache Today” and “Cold Turkey,” the band continues to gain momentum across the Southern rock and country scene, earning attention for their explosive energy, youthful edge, and blue-collar approach to making music. Young, hungry, and unapologetically loud, KG and The Bad Habits are quickly becoming a name to watch.
