Dark, unconventional and uncompromising, Goodnight Louisa isn’t afraid to hold out her hand and pull you into her world. She’ll make you laugh, she’ll make you cry, or maybe even make you laugh whilst you’re crying.

Established by the independent release of her 2022 debut, Human Danger, Glasgow-based multi-disciplinary artist and musician Louise McCraw’s takes you to the crossroads of pop culture, vivid imagination, and detailed electronic-pop composition that offers listeners multiple means of escape.

Growing up in the 2010s on the East Coast of Scotland, McCraw sought comfort in books and songwriting, a way of coping whilst coming to terms with her rebuked sexuality and turbulent home life.
Spending many nights alone, creating fabricated worlds that you could live and breathe in, even just for 3 minutes and 30 seconds—a quality that McCraw has carried throughout her musical career.

Goodnight Louisa has featured on BBC 6 Music, BBC Introducing Scotland, and was Radio 6 presenter Emily Pilbeam’s ‘Featured Artist of the Month’ (Sept 2025) and was also included in Pilbeam’s BBC Radio 6 ‘The Best of 2025’
