Artist bio
Monamor is a Seattle-based acoustic Latin ensemble led by Colombian vocalist and music educator Monica Ramos. Performing Boleros, Son Cubano, Cha Cha Cha, and Latin Jazz entirely in Spanish, the band brings the warmth, romance, and nostalgia of Latin American music to the Pacific Northwest.
The ensemble — available as a quartet or quintet with trumpet — features seasoned musicians with deep roots in the Seattle music scene. Their sound is intimate and acoustic: unhurried, beautiful, and deeply felt.
Monamor has performed at Northwest Folklife, Fremont Fair, Fiestas Patrias, Seattle Center Artists in the Center, and Encanto Music Festival, and is supported by 4Culture and the City of Seattle Office of Arts & Culture. Their music is available on all major streaming platforms.
