What fans are saying
First off, the Glasgow Royal Concert Hall - with the majority of the area being seated - on a Tuesday evening is not where you would expect to be going to see Basement Jaxx. However, the venue was what it was and the Basement Jaxx team did an amazing job at whipping up the crowd to forget all of the surroundings - whether you were in the standing area or standing in the seated area - and that it was midweek.
Let's be clear, this is one of the best live dance acts the country has produced, so getting the opportunity to see them again with the full show was one not to be missed and they did not disappoint!
Hit after hit, mixes with old dance tunes, some garage, plus drum and bass thrown into the mix. Fantastic live singers, great stage energy and eclectic dancers and outfits. A night to behold. After being at a similar 'dance' act in the Ovo Hydro a week earlier, paying roughly the same money, this concert was far superior. It left me ecstatic, energised and wanting more from Basement Jaxx. If I could attend the same gig for the rest of my life, it would be Basement Jaxx's full live show without a doubt.
Catch them while you can!
