Sam Downing

Sam was born in Michigan but moved to Texas when he was 4 years old. His dad, AJ Downing wanted to give music his best shot and figured Austin, Texas would be a great place to start. Little did he know, his son would share his same dream!

Sam started writing music in middle school and immediately knew he would be doing it for the rest of his life. After graduating high school, Sam decided it was time to give being a fulltime musician his best shot.

Sam plays a bunch of live music in the Central Texas area and will continue to expand as he grow his audience. I write and record my music in my home studio and am always working on putting out more music. Stay tuned!
