Charlie Lim is an award-winning Singaporean singer-songwriter, producer and musician whose career spans more than 15 years. Known for his emotionally direct songwriting and genre-fluid approach, his work moves between pop, folk, electronic and experimental influences while remaining rooted in intimacy, restraint and a strong sense of craft.

His music has amassed more than 20 million streams, with both TIME/SPACE (2015) and CHECK-HOOK (2018) reaching #1 on the iTunes Singapore album charts. His accolades include COMPASS Young Songwriter of the Year, Indie/Alternative Artist of the Year at the Youth Music Awards, and the National Arts Council’s Young Artist Award. He has performed at festivals across Asia and Australia, including Summer Sonic in Tokyo, Japan; BIGSOUND in Brisbane, Australia; Java Jazz Festival in Jakarta, Indonesia; Wanderland Festival in Manila, Philippines; Clockenflap in Hong Kong; HOZO Festival in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam; and Urbanscapes in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. He has also collaborated and shared stages with artists including Khalil Fong, Kimbra, Kan Sano, Miho Fukuhara, BIBI, Taku Takahashi and Clara Benin.

Charlie has also been closely involved in some of Singapore’s major national music projects. He reimagined and co-produced the 1987 classic We Are Singapore for National Day 2018, later developing its opening prelude into Room at the Table for the 2020 National Day Parade. He subsequently co-wrote and produced Breathing City for National Day 2021, and wrote and performed the 2025 National Day theme Here We Are, appearing alongside Kit Chan while also serving as Assistant Music Director for the parade. Earlier in his career, he co-wrote two theme songs for the 2015 Southeast Asian Games and performed its closing song, Still, at the National Stadium.
