About this concert

This holiday season 2026, Kat Edmonson releases “A Kat Edmonson Christmas, Vol. 2”. The album is a follow up to her 2021 release “Holiday Swingin’!” which was described by Jazziz as “impeccably hip” and included in The New York Times “13 Albums That Revisit (and Redefine!) Holiday Classics”. Kat’s new record includes favorites such as “Santa Baby”, “Christmas Time is Here” as well as two, original holiday tunes! The award-winning singer and songwriter “with an equal foothold in jazz, cabaret and vintage cosmopolitanism pop” (The New York Times) has built an international following through her intimate performances, sophisticated songwriting, and unmistakable charm. She is described as retro without imitation — timeless, sharp-witted, and deeply human. This is a joyful, fun, and romantic show for the holidays.

Artist bio
Born and raised in Houston, Texas, Kat Edmonson’s work spans jazz, pop, folk, and the traditions of the Great American Songbook.
A Songwriters Hall of Fame award-winning composer "with an equal foothold in jazz, cabaret and vintage cosmopolitanism pop" (The New York Times), Kat has earned numerous number one albums on the Billboard Jazz Albums chart, has appeared on Austin City Limits, Tiny Desk Concerts, A Prairie Home Companion, The Tonight Show and The Late Show, has performed at venues and festivals around the world including Carnegie Hall, the Montreux Jazz Festival, and the Blue Note in Japan, and has toured alongside Lyle Lovett, Michael Kiwanuka, Chris Isaak, Shawn Colvin, and Gary Clark Jr.
Kat Edmonson’s latest album, Have Your Merry Christmas With Me (out November 6, 2026 ), plays like the soundtrack to a classic romantic comedy—lush, witty, soulful, and filled with longing, sensuality, and holiday warmth. Sensual bossa novas mingle with a tropical, 1960s-cocktail-party take on “Jingle Bells,” the swinging jazz-gospel exuberance of “Hark! The Herald Angels Swing,” and an achingly soulful transformation of Allen Toussaint’s “It’s Raining” into “It’s Snowing.” Two originals, “Have Your Merry Christmas With Me” and “Hush! There’s a Falling Snow,” feel instantly at home among the standards, with the timelessness of future holiday classics.
Kat’s nationwide tour begins Thanksgiving and continues through the end of December 2026.

What fans are saying
Kat Edmonson is supernatural in her ability to convey and emote with such tenderness and passion in her voice. I so enjoyed the intimacy of her and the guitarist(Peter was excellent) playing together on this most recent tour. It was a special experience and I hope their will be more of "the bare essentials" in the future.
Kat, I hope you come back to Austin as soon as you can. Love you so much.
