Intimate, perfect acoustics, and a variety of incredible guest artists performing mini-sets on stage with Josh. Definitely worth the drive from out of town!

Josh was great and as laid back as always. It's amazing that he still comes to the UK twice a year ♥️ Maybe one too many whistling songs if there was a fault 🤣 Fantastic cover choice in Ron Sexsmith's Lebanon, Tennessee. Not sure about finishing with Buddy Holly. All the usuals were played. Audience didn't contribute as much as normal. Maybe because he was playing outside his usual cities. Venue staff were very friendly, though seats were pretty uncomfortable and very close together. The guy next to me elbowed me several times. Later Youth is good, though I can almost sing along I've seen him/them so many times supporting Josh 🤣

Josh never disappoints. His music is effortlessly enjoyable, his performance consistently tight, and he also offers a refreshing line in dry humour and self-deprecation to the experience. If anything, his sound is almost too easy on the ear! The Garage remains a gem of a venue; intimate, full of character, and the perfect setting for an artist like Josh to truly connect with his audience. Simply wonderful.

Show was incredible! Josh told stories, took requests and encouraged sing alongs!! He sounded great too! His voice seems to get even better with age!! Loved every minute!! Song selection was perfect! Great mix of his extensive catalogue. Go see him!

Josh Rouse is an amazing singer songwriter . He was funny, engaging , looked fit , and played in top form . Totally acoustic ! 😮😎 He even came out and signed Nashville to my partner . 👌💕

Ramsgate music hall was an ideal venue for Josh's music, there was love vibration for sure, nice one Josh.

Josh was in fine form at this one and played some of my favourite songs including The Ocean which I haven't heard him play the last three times I've seen him. If you haven't heard of him just go and check him out he's a gem of an artist with a fantastic body of songs and a lovely stage manner that makes you fell like he's just playing to you!

I only discovered JR because Spotify kept throwing me his tracks (mostly from 1973). I quickly grew to love them and sought out more. This was my 3rd time seeing Josh live, and he never disappoints. He's best with his full band, but still extremely entertaining just with guitar and harp. A more proficient guitarist than many in a similar role too. I would love to hear a few different songs (Streetlights, Jersey Clowns etc) rather than Spaceship and covers, though as a huge Nick Lowe fan, it was great to hear Cruel to be Kind again. Audience participation was excellent and it felt like there was a real connection between Josh and his audience. I hope you enjoyed it as much as we did Josh. Great venue too btw.

Excellent show, the last time we saw josh was in 2013 at the Birchmere . 1972 is where it all began for us and were happy he played the whole LP. We came from Florida to catch the show and were not disappointed . Five Stars Tim and Lou \Inlet Beach Fla.

Truly a fantastic evening! The Theatro Circo is a magical venue, and Josh Rouse was wonderful as always, treating us to an early Christmas present of his album 1972 plus some bonus songs. A special thank you to Josh for taking the time to say hello after the gig!

I have seen Josh live many times at World Cafe and last night was no disappointment. It was just him, his 2 guitars, various harmonicas and a friend on drums. He played 21, count them, 21 tunes. Luckily he played "Sad Eyes" amongst many of his other gems. I finally got to meet him after the gig and get my vinyl copy of "Nashville" signed. He couldn't have been more humble or accommodating. Thanks for the music Josh and here's to another 20 years of stopping by the World Cafe to share your talent.

Fantastic songwriter but venue lacked atmosphere . Could they consider cafe style seating when there is such a small audience ? Josh was brilliant and charming . The sound was excellent and it is a pleasant room .

Five star show. I was sitting in the front row looking up at him the entire time. First time I’ve seen him, but I’ve been a fan of his music for many many years. He did not disappoint. And he was lovely after the show. One of my true singer/ songwriter heroes.

Went specifically to see Josh Rouse who was great as usual, this time playing electric guitar. Most of the capacity audience seemed to be there for him. Having never heard Grant Lee Phillips I was impressed with him although his songs aren’t as personal to me as Josh’s. In any event its a great pairing of two songwriters who clearly respect and admire each other.
