Artist bio
Token is a Boston-based rapper who has morphed into an outlier in rap. Known for his blistering technical ability, introspective storytelling, and genre-bending production, he first broke through with viral freestyles, including appearances on Sway in the Morning. He’s since built a devoted global fanbase through relentless lyricism, rapid-fire flows, and an independent grind that’s led to hundreds of millions of streams. Influenced by Eminem, Lil Wayne, Nas, and Tech N9ne, Token balances elite-level wordplay with deeply personal songwriting, exploring themes of mental health, family, and identity.
His catalog spans fan-favorite projects including Eraser Shavings, Between Somewhere, Pink Is Better and I'm Not Supposed to Be Here, while collaborations with Tech N9ne and Lil Darkie have further cemented his reputation as one of hip-hop's most technically gifted MCs. His latest album I'm Leaving Soon, released under his own label Never Too Different, pairs industrial-inspired production with razor-sharp lyricism. I’m Leaving Soon continues to push the boundaries between high-energy rap and emotional vulnerability.
Whether delivering impossible rhyme schemes or brutally honest narratives, Token has established himself as one of independent hip-hop's most distinctive and uncompromising voices.

What fans are saying
Super personable experience seeing Token! We got VIP pre-show sound check and post show photo-op tickets. We got to talk with Token before and after the show, see him warm up, take pictures with him, etc. It was amazing to bring my 15 year old son there because Token is his favorite rapper. He loved it and we had a blast! The venue was small so no matter where you stood or sit it was a great view to the stage. The performance was awesome!
