An ambient rhythm based quartet with an indescribable sound, Lubbock Lights was formed in Toronto, Ontario when ex We Will Kill Again members Michael Kundakcioglu (guitar/vocals), Christian Thompson (vocals), Michael Rodrigues (guitar), and Josh Nelson (drums) began recording their numerous ideas together. Named after the "Lubbock Lights" UFO encounter in 1951, the band is heavily influenced by Metalcore along with the recent "Djent" movement in modern metal. You can expect to hear a perfect blend of atmospheric ambience and bone crushing heaviness when listening to their self-titled debut album, which is rapidly nearing completion.
