Join us in September as the legendary Chicane brings an evening of balearic beats to Epic Studios!  Chicane is often seen as one of, if not the seminal Trance originator. With the track Offshore he refined cool in the dance genre, the name Chicane became synonymous with Ibiza and sunsets, and quality music, an aural security blanket. Saltwater followed on and became a UK top five hit. Worldwide success was sealed with a collaboration between Chicane and Bryan Adams, Don’t Give Up from the hit album Behind the Sun. The track has reached the number one spot on the UK Singles Chart. Now recognised as a dancefloor classic, it was one of the first dance collaboration tracks to reach such heights. In addition to his work as Chicane the artist, he has worked with and produced music with Cher, Sir Tom Jones, William Orbit, Natasha Bedingfield and composed for TV and film. - 4pm - 10pm 18+ ID required - Specific set times are only made available on the day of the event, please check the venue’s website page for the most up to date information. Artist bio
Chicane is a pseudonym used by UK-based electronic musician and record producer Nick Bracegirdle. He was born on 28 February 1971, in London, England. Chicane is known for the single Offshore, an Ibiza anthem included in thousands of compilations in both chill-out and dance form; Saltwater, which featured vocals by Clannad member Máire Brennan; Autumn Tactics; and the #1 hit Don't Give Up, which features vocals by Bryan Adams. His other hits include the fast-paced Halcyon, and the dance melody Love on the Run, featuring the vocals of Peter Cunnah of D:Ream fame.

Chicane has also done a number of remixes for artists such as Everything but the Girl, Billie Ray Martin, Bryan Adams and Enigma.

Bracegirdle's body of work for other artists includes working as a producer for Bryan Adams, as well as for Cher on her album Living Proof. He also composed the music for PlayStation's game Formula One.

As Chicane, he usually works in the studio with a partner. Some of his first productions, such as Offshore, were made with the help of Leo Elstob, but since then, Bracegirdle has worked with co-producer Ray "Madman" Hedges and mixer Martin Brannigan.

In addition, Nick Bracegirdle works alone under the alias Disco Citizens, whose tracks have a stronger progressive house sound without any vocals, thus this project doesn't get the same airplay as the more radio-friendly Chicane. Working with singer Vanessa St. James and producer Mr. Joshua, Bracegirdle was part of the Mr. Joshua Presents Espiritu project, known for the song In Praise of the Sun, released with both English and French vocals.

In 2005, Burning Vision Entertainment created the video for Something Wrong, in which the action was all shown in reverse to striking effect.
