Expect an afternoon of fun-folky music to tap your feet or get you up dancing in a Brewery venue- what better way to celebrate St George’s Day than having a few freshly brewed ales and a dance with friends! It’s going to be an awesome afternoon of superb performances from Dandelion Charm, Milton Hide (who are coming all the way from Brighton to perform at this event) plus two local favourites The Folk Doctors and April Moon.

(Ticket money pays for PA hire, Sound tech wages, printing and advertising costs and of course paying these lovely people to travel and perform for you! There is the option to purchase a “premium” ticket which awards extra money to each band for each one purchased and also enables us to offer concession tickets and still meet all the costs involved. April Moon Biography
Combining catchy boot-stompin tunes with a lively and fun onstage energy, Jaime April and Jason Moon make up the Liverpool-based duo APRIL MOON. Hailing from the vast prairies of Saskatchewan, Canada, the pair fell in love first with each other and then with the UK while on tour with a previous band, and when the group fell apart they decided to explore the UK’s vibrant music scene on a more permanent basis.
Described by 'New Sound Generation' as "the most sunshine-filled performance I think I’ve ever seen!", APRIL MOON's live show is a vibrant twangfest with Fleetwood Mac style harmonies, a jangly acoustic guitar, a blistering Telecaster, and a driving beat provided by Jaime's foot stomping on a kick drum pedal. The pair released a full-length album called ‘The Other One Was You’ followed up by the twangy, ‘Part Of The Game’ that features Jo Pue on fiddle. 2024 will see a string of new singles as supported by a Help Musicians funding grant.
APRIL MOON call their genre Canadiana - think Americana, but with a big helping of northern charm that oozes through their style of storytelling and lyrics, creating a vivid world that covers everything from love, scandal and divorce to the hardships of growing up on the prairies, living in an abandoned brewery and cow autopsies.
