Samrat Pandit

Indian classical singer, Samrat Pandit is an exponent of Khayal singing, a style based on improvisation. Accompanied by tabla, tanpura and swarmandal, this traditionnal music sings love and emotions with fine and complex ornements.

Samrat is belongs to a family of musicians and is the 6th generation from his family into music. His father late Pandit Jagdish Prasad is considered as a genius by the connoisseurs and used to sing with his grandfather at the court of the Maharaja.

He is a representative of Patiala gharana and also carry the legacy of the legendary Ustad Bade Ghulam Ali Khan.
