Tante Friedl is a flippin-fantastic, international, Berlin and Bavaria based, folk music slaying duo that stretches the boundaries of traditional styles from around the world into a contemporary and dynamic sound that addresses life, love, work, social and environmental justice.

With Accordion, Banjo, two strong voices, flute and fiddle Magdalena Kriss from Bavaria and Dan Wall from New York State galvanize their audiences with their gritty and energetic performance which pulls you right into their world of acoustic punk, cabaret and New Orleans Street Music.

Magdalena and Dan believe that folk music is not only a relic from the past, but a living and breathing reflection of modern times with a healthy dose of historical context that informs the present and future.
