Jejaview Biography

Bear witness to the sound that resonates with the youth. Since 2009, Jejaview has been hard at work carving out and developing a sonic signature to satisfy their artistic identity and relate to the multitudes of listeners that are drawn towards their music. Years of effort have elevated them to be one of the more influential pop-punk-rock bands in the local music scene today. Through lineup changes, personal struggles, and the myriad of challenges that come with being in a band, they have forged the strongest camaraderie complemented by an irrepressible work ethic. It is this unique chemistry coupled with a sense of purpose that allows Jejaview to translate excellent songwriting sensibilities to an almost incomparable onstage presence. A spectacle on its own, Jejaview's performances are tight and intense; straddling the line between the most polished of professional shows and the raw energy of the hungriest of independent bands. Wherever the venue is and no matter what happens, the band brings the best of what they have to offer every single night. Jejaview’s current and quintessential lineup includes Christian Tomacruz on guitars and vocals, Luigi Tuazon on guitars, Eco del Rio on bass and Miggy Abesamis on drums. Previous releases include debut album People Are Watching, containing seminal singles “Summer TwentyEleven” and “Paperskin”. Jejaview is very much active in the local gig circuit; regularly playing in bars like Saguijo, Route 196, B-Side and others. The band has also experienced performing in larger-scale nationwide festivals such as Sinulog Blastoff, Fete de la Musique, UP Fair, and Rakrakan Festival; as well as opening for international acts Anberlin, There For Tomorrow and Silverstein.
