Beer and Pretzels

Two eighth-graders and a tape recorder begin Beer and Pretzels in 1996 in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania. Dozens of cassettes of noise are made that no one knows about. They learn to play guitars and put together a full band in 2000 with the objective NOT to trap themselves in a box musically. Still no one cares. Several lineup changes, shows further away from home, some out of state, six full-length self-produced albums, a couple EPs, over the next decade, slowly gather Beer and Pretzels a little bit of attention. A two year hiatus in 2011 seemingly killed them, but, starting from scratch in 2014, Beer and Pretzels, now in their early thirties with no signs of slowing down, will continue to be the tenacious DIY cockroaches they've been known to be.
