Tim Jansen Biography
If you like bittersweet melodies and soulful guitar sounds, you will surely love singer-songwriter Tim Jansen. He makes acoustic folk-pop reminiscent of John Mayer, Ryan Adams and Noel Gallagher.
Tim Jansen lives in Breda in the Netherlands and has been making music for years. He started in 2005 as a songwriter and guitarist with feelgood pop bands Jupiter and Woodlane. He has released two EP’s and played at local festivals. After these bands broke up he started singing his own songs. He was invited in 2013 for a collaboration with other singer-songwriters in the band Round About Tonite. Grown through this experience, he now fully opts for his own music. An EP of four songs is being recorded and will be released in 2021. With Tim's electric guitar and the addition of a drummer and bass player, subtlety is alternated with distorted guitar solos and solid rhythms.
His lyrics are a reflection on personal experiences and observations: a friendship that disappears, worries about refugees and war, the recognition of true love ... With his intimate and compelling songs he gives a place to his own thoughts and those of the listener.
