What fans are saying
This was my first concert at L’Olympia. It’s a fantastic venue. The general admission floor has a few step-down tiers that allow for better seeing in the back of the crowd. But we had box seats up in row BBB - totally perfect view.
3 bars, and a beer dude snaking his way through the masses on the general admission floor with hands held high for those needing another round. Solid. If you need a drink during the show, the excuse of “it’s too much of a pain to get another drink” isn’t a good excuse.
Interpol was rad. They played a long set, with a multiple song encore. DIIV was great too, though I think their quieter, subdued vocals were overwhelmed by their music. I think somewhat smaller venues (a more intimate setting) would better allow DIIV’s style to shine.
