Cassandra Croft

With a voice described by NPR Music as "gorgeous, ethereal, [and] haunting,” Brooklyn songwriter/multi-instrumentalist Cassandra Croft writes songs to disarm. Drawing on traditions from folk, dream pop, neoclassical and ambient electronic, Croft is singular in her ethereal voice and incisive lyricism. Since her first appearance in 2020 on a compilation curated by Grouper, Croft has collaborated with Rachika Nayar, Nina Keith, Disiniblud, Julianna Barwick, Randall Dunn, and Ben Greenberg—with releases on Domino/Smuggler’s Way, Red Hot Org, and Nettwerk.
