In 2024, he was named one of Vulture Magazine’s “Comedians You Should and Will Know.” Gavin’s debut special, Progression, released in October 2023, was produced by All Things Comedy and Bill Burr, and received acclaim from New York Magazine, which called it “dark comedy at its best.” Gavin has made acting appearances on Hulu’s Ramy, Easter Sunday and recur'd in season 4 of HBO MAX’s HACKS.
