Josh Makosky

Josh Makosky comes from a musical background. Starting on piano at 5, he switched primarily to guitar at 10. Playing weddings and parties by 12 he continued learning and playing gigs, dabbling in mulitple instruments, writing and recording songs, eventually joining the Portland blues community in late 2011.
In that time he's played and toured with multiple acts, including Ben Rice, Naomi Tatsuoka, the Lucky Losers, Chad Rupp, Angel Bouchet and numerous others over the years between hosting jams, benefits, private parties and other spontaneous get-togethers.
Currently combining influences and elements of Rock, Funk, R&B, and even a little sprinkling of Pop, he released an all original Blues-Rock Album under the band name Love Sloth.
Today, you can find him playing under his own name doing both Acoustic and Electric shows all around the PNW. His latest lineup is comprised of Calen Uhlig (Ben Rice, LaRhonda Steele, Chris Baum, Chad Rupp), Alexander Grant (Black Market Bargain, The Jesters Brass Band, Richard Wilkins), Nathan Mayers (Love Sloth, Mr. Pink, Black Market Bargain).
