Bend-it! Orchestra

Spring 2018. Slovenian Coast. Gals, musicians at heart and by education, had the idea of starting a big band. Guys, locals from Marezige, came to the aid of them: with a room for practicing, first music scores and their experiences.

The artistic direction of the newly formed big band was taken over by the internationally renowned saxophone player Lovro Ravbar; whos place took Primož Štefančič in August 2022.

The audience is always impressed by their powerful sound, energetic performance and a joy of playing together that is almost visible.

The musicians do not limit themselves to one particular genre, they perform various songs, from the swing classics, through pop and rock, up to their own compositions.
Bend-it! is thus bending the boundaries of musical styles and moving in the direction of finding a recognizable and distinct sound.
