PIECES returns with another thrilling triple bill of innovative dance works. In 2024, Lucy Guerin Inc s long running commissioning program took to its biggest stage yet in a major new collaboration with UMAC. Now, this beloved program returns with three new choreographers presenting three distinctive artistic visions. Showcasing exceptional artists at the forefront of dance in Naarm, PIECES 2025 sees Jenni Large, Jo Lloyd and Siobhan McKenna each unveil a 20-minute performance commissioned by LGI and UMAC. PIECES Biography
My name’s Paul and I’m a British/Indian punk from Chelmsford, Essex, with the stage name pieces. All the music is homegrown in a garden shed studio. I’ve been on BBC Introducing a few times in the past year and was featured on Alyx Holcombe’s Introducing Rock Show on Radio 1 with my song ‘escalate’ and again on BBC 6Music with my anti-Tory track ‘Man of the People’. Apart from that little flurry of success, I’m still grinding, still independent and desperately trying to find my people.
