Hailing from his hometown El Paso, Texas, Jeff Azar, AKA Demi The Daredevil, went from the drummer to being a singer after the original lead singer Jovan Ortiz suddenly passed away. After struggles with mental health, Demi released the first three records, uniting with a close-knit fan community. Demi mixes a theatrically edgy live show with an alternative pop style which creates a unique sound that you can’t quite find anywhere else. Jeff’s unconventional approach to songwriting provides the listener with deep, relatable meaning, choosing substance over radio norms, creating a welcoming space and community for weirdos among other weirdos.
