Fresh talented, innovative and captivating DJ / Producer “James Cottle” has hit the trance scene with a bang, bringing him to the attention of many artists and brands. His track selection, pure natural skill and deliverance of each set are what make him shine. His abilities and talents of playing diverse sets are why his highly entertaining and unique and puts him on the right path of building his impressive DJ'ing 'CV' With already a deep passion and love for Trance, James hit Ibiza in 2007 and went off to Cream, Amnesia to watching Paul Van Dyk headlining the Opening Party. Arriving home this holiday he was totally inspired and not long after purchased his first set of decks to begin his DJ’ing journey. Soon he was playing out regular at local events and getting regular sets, this was the start of a rising and boosting career. James then began working his way up the ever growing DJ ladder! Already making a name for himself in a short time period, James has played clubs all over the UK including Albert Hall, Tall Trees, Digital Newcastle & 02 Academy. Being added to massive line ups for brand events such as Goodgreef, Fire It Up, Digital Society & more and bookings on one of the UK’s biggest dance music festivals Northern Lights. Add to that a list of the best DJ’s in the industry including Paul Van Dyk, Paul Oakenfold, Eddie Halliwell, Gareth Emery, Lange, Jordan Suckley, Adam Ellis, Orla Fenney and many in which he has had the honour of playing alongside over the past few years. So far James’ short career has been an eventful and on the rise with production now taking off, he is due to be releasing his first track this year. Already a resident brand artist with Dirty House and the mighty Goodgreef he then became a part of Eddie Halliwell’s “Fire It Up” Team. As his career grew it made it an easy choice for one of the scenes leading UK agencies “Curious Artist Management” and they quickly signing him up at the end of 2014. Through his hard work, passion and dedication James strives to keep this momentum going and keep pushing in the right direction. This is one DJ to watch out for and who know how to work the dance floor and raise the roof!
