Sirocco Biography
There are at least four Siroccos that are represented on this page:
1) (1980 - ) An Australian band that blends and fuses music from those various cultures that now make Australia their home (http://www.siroccoz.com/s_facts.htm, http://nla.gov.au/nla.ms-ms9364)
2) (1995 - ) Trance act "Solarstone" released an EP named "Solarstone Vs. Sirocco" in July 2003 with tracks "Release" and "Destination" (http://www.deepbluerecords.co.uk/)
3) (Feb 2003 - ) An Irish metal/thrash band (http://www.siroccoband.com/)
4) (2005 -) Sirocco are a versatile three part harmony sister group from the beautiful rolling hills of Co. Kerry Ireland. Having performed for many summers in the National Folk Theatre of Ireland, the girls gained a love of Irish music and folklore. Their 2005 release "Black Is The Color" was inspired by the love the girls have for their native land and traditions. (www.myspace.com/celticsirocco)
The sisters Fiona (22), Naomi (20) and Evangeline (18), as well as being singers and performers, are songwriters at heart.
