Adassiya Biography
Adassiya is an internationally recognized Paris-based DJ, producer, and live performer.
She started her singing career at 13, recording her first album with Warner Music. By the age of 18, the musical ‘10 Commandments’ were fully integrated into her life - she’s been living her musical dream ever since.
Her early career includes being a songwriter for several successful French singers, collaborating with many urban and hip-hop artists who were her generation's signature. In 2016, she discovered a new passion – electronic music and DJing. Behind the turntables, she feels in the perfect environment for sharing her deeply personal, eclectic sound – a groovy, deep, organic house vibe, with powerful tech house baselines, blending influences and sounds from multiple genres and cultures, reflecting her background, upbringing, and interests.
The unique mix of her mystical voice, exceptional DJ skills, and charismatic presence and energy in the DJ booth, created a considerable buzz in the industry, quickly leading to bookings and standout performances at some of the most iconic venues in Paris (Mirage, Alma, Yoyo Palais de Tokyo), London (Koko, Annabel’s, Bacchanalia), Ibiza (Cova Santa, Beachouse), Lisbon (YARD Project), Rome (Sanctuary), Tulum (Vagalume), Dubai (Surf Club, Arts Club, Kokobay, Twiggy), India (Cray Dunes Festival) and of course her high-profile residency at the infamous Scorpios Beach Club in Mykonos where she played alongside and warmed up for the likes of Bedouin, Keinemusik, Bora Uzer, Dennis Cruz, etc.
She has and continues to share the DJ booth with some of the greats of our scene, such as Dixon, Acid Pauli, Satori, Adam Port, &ME, Jean Claude Ades, and many more. She has also performed at several high-profile events, such as the Eva Longoria Charity Gala, L’Oréal, Yves Saint Laurent, Balmain, and other luxury brands.
Adassiya is also a prolific producer, releasing her EP ‘Rebirth’ in 2021 and going on to develop an impressive, critically-acclaimed catalog of original tracks, remixes, and collaborations on labels such as Lump Records, Scorpios Music, Wannabe a Frog, and Cosmic Awakenings amongst others. Her recent release ‘Mektoub’, in collaboration with Flamenco artist P. Rivas and remixed by Jean Claude Ades on Scorpios Music, was one of the top tracks of 2023, played all over the world by leading DJs including Keinemusic. Her collaboration with Adam Port and Chris IDH ‘By Myself’ was released in 2024 on Pete Tong’s Three Six Zero label.
