Nardos Almaz

With an adoration for songwriting, Nardos Almaz began her musical journey from her childhood bedroom in Kitchener-Waterloo. She uses her clever guitar melodies and honest lyrics to navigate the many facets of her intersectional identity. Now based in Toronto, Almaz has spent the last couple of years playing her unreleased songs live, opening for artists like Leith Ross, Rachel Bobbitt, and Haley Blais. Through her electric performances and poignant songwriting, she’s steadily carving out a space for herself in the Canadian indie music scene, building anticipation for her upcoming debut EP.
