sufferplenty is an American rapper, singer and songwriter from PG County Maryland known for his honest lyrics and ability to write about mental health in a way listeners can easily relate to.

Born in Wichita Falls, Texas, Rylan Schmitt moved around a lot- first around Texas and then New Mexico in his early teens, traveling back and forth between there and his hometown. He also spent sometime overseas in Germany before moving to Maryland in December 2016. This lack of stability resulted in him being pulled out of public school and experimenting with both online school and homeschool. These experiences brought on severe panic attacks for the majority of his younger years and was later diagnosed with bipolar disorder and major depressive disorder.

In September 2017, sufferplenty dropped his first single and has since garnered over 500,000 streams across all streaming platforms. Influenced by artists like 93FEETOFSMOKE, guardin, Lil Peep, Juice WRLD, Wicca Phase Springs Eternal, Oliver Francis and many more, he has been able to develop his own unique sound and image over the past 7 years. Now his mission is to remind his audience “we’re all suffering, you’re not alone”
