Alex & The Moondaze

Alex & The Moondaze is a Music Sounds Records supergroup, led by songwriter Alex Tighe and joined by Francis Kelly, Pablo Lovetrain, Jonny Pijama, and Nico Paco. These multi-instrumentalists and real-life friends combine mid-century cosmic American influences with mellow grooves, rhythmic precision, and layered harmonies. With their third full-length album, they continue to develop a sound that blurs traditional genre boundaries.

The band records all their music on analog reel-to-reel tape at Oracle Recording Studio, located in the central lodge of Rancho Linda Vista. This artist community, nestled in the high desert of Oracle, AZ, has been a wellspring of inspiration since the group’s first sessions in 2018. Their earlier albums, RANCHO and LINDA, established their distinct blend of melodic, soulful harmonies.

Their most recent album, VISTA, expands their sonic palette, weaving together elements of soul, R&B, psychedelic rock, glam, and Americana. The result is music that feels both timeless and exploratory, offering a fresh take on classic influences.

In 2025, Alex & The Moondaze plan to share their music with audiences worldwide, with tours in the works across the US, Europe, Australia, Japan, and South Korea.
