MAD VELVET Biography

MAD VELVET (formerly known as “Fialový Samet”) is the solo project of Madhouse Express frontman Maxmilián Hruška. In this musical playground, he blends his dreams, poetry, and his favorite laid-back and colorful atmosphere of the 60s and 70s with modern neo-psychedelic rock. His solo work carries a touch of Syd Barrett’s surrealist-dadaist decadence, the playfully sarcastic nostalgia of MGMT, and the bold creativity of David Bowie.
