Mya Byrne is a singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and producer/engineer from New York City, now living in San Francisco. She's toured nationally and internationally, won several awards for her songwriting, and is a stalwart member of the American folk music scene.
Mya is a proud transgender woman, and came out publicly in May 2014.
