Lalah was fa la la la fabulous❣️ Band was tight and followed her lead effortlessly. This was my first time experiencing her live and she did portions from her songbook across the years; only missing BITMFW, which would suited my taste as complete. BUT, I know, I know even as the prophetess/poet Jill Scott has declared, “Everything ain’t for everybody…” 😉 Matthew Whittaker was phenomenal as thee lead off act. And, Lalah was gracious enough to extend opportunity to Legally Blynd as well before she came out.
