Texas’ longest-running burlesque troupe, The Jigglewatts Burlesque Revue, brings back the spectacle with a one-night-only revival of their celebrated showcase, “Violet Crown Follies”, at 8:00 p.m. (doors at 7:00 p.m.) on Saturday, November 15, at the newly unveiled Regal Rooms, 1403 Regal Row in Austin, Texas. This glittering gala of burlesque pays tribute to Hollywood’s golden age— and the genres we love to wink at. From starlets to starships, noir to negligees, every act is a scene-stealer. Presented with the latest in theatrical illumination and studio-quality sound design, The Jigglewatts deliver Technicolor thrills and silver screen fantasy. Word from backstage is the stars are lining up for one dazzling night only. The Jigglewatts’ own constellation of showgirls takes center stage, including the smoldering Ruby Joule, the effervescent Something Blue, siren songbird Jolie Goodnight, and the ever-enchanting Ruby Lamb.
