Chelo Biography
There are two artist who record under the name Chelo.
1) Chelo was a famous Mexican singer who recorded in the 70s until the present in genres as diverse as rancheras, tropical, etc. She is also the mother of singer Yesenia Flores.
2) Chelo is a Puerto Rican singer who started his career in a puerto rican band called "Jyve V" and then moved into another mexican band called "ATM" but he became famous in early 2006 when he went solo. His song called "Cha-Cha" was released in Spanglish and English and it reached #1 in Latinamerican charts and reached the three first places in U.S. charts. Later the same year, Chelo released his first album called "360º" with 12 songs (15 for the special Mexican release) and he just released his second single called "Yummy".
He's appeared in some of the most famous shows in the U.S. like "Malcolm in the Middle" and performed his hit-song "Cha Cha" in "Dancing with the Stars" and some other shows.
