Katrella

Katrina Karyofyllis is a Canadian born DJ and Producer from Ottawa, Ontario. Now working under the name Katrella, she is quickly becoming one of the most talked about, hottest, young female DJ’s reining out of Canada today.

Nominated Ottawa’s top DJ in 2016 and 2017 by Faces Magazine, as well endorsed by Chevrolet Canada, she is a skilled DJ and Producer who has settled on house music as her preferred genre.

Since landing her first show “Ottawa Club Night Live” on the Corus owned Canadian radio station Jump 106.9 in 2015, Katrella’s career quickly took off and led to performances at clubs and festivals worldwide.

A meeting with radio representatives led to a move from Ottawa to Miami and a fruitful collaboration with Miami’s hottest dance music station Revolution 93.5 FM radio where she mixed for the show “Madhouse in The Morning” and also created and hosted her own show “The Source”, drawing more than one million listeners.
Signed by record label Sirup Music in 2017, Katrella released “Find Our Way” which has reached well over 3.6 million plays on Spotify. Since then she has also released “Just for Tonight” and “Till the Morning” on Sirup Music and “Electric Touch” signed by Carousel Muzik.

Katrella’s music has been supported by many top DJ’s in clubs, festivals and on some of the most heard radio shows in dance music. Oliver Heldens “Heldeep Radio”, Pasquale Rotella’s “Night owl Radio”, Lucas & Steve’s “Skyline Sessions” and many more. She was recently featured by EDM.com in a podcast called “Gender Bias, Getting Booked & Social Media-- A Fireside Chat with Katrella” hosted by Matt Lillywhite and available on Spotify.

Katrella, now a Miami-based global DJ/producer is fast becoming a staple at clubs, casinos and festivals. She has developed the ability to showcase her unique sound and blend of energy to audiences alike and is working on expanding and showcasing her music and taking her career to the next level.
