French

French is a punk rock band from NYC.
They pride themselves on writing short songs.
Led by brilliant songwriter and guitarist Ian James, French has intentionally spurned the music industry and most publicity in general.
They will speak only to Jack Rabid, who declared them "New York's best band" and runs the influential magazine "The Big Takeover".
Their music is a playful melange of old school punk rock, post-punk, and pop, with a heavy dose of self-concious sarcasm, heavy on the guitars.
