Eilen Jewell

The Eilen Jewell concert at the Shea Theater in Shelburne Falls, MA was sublime. She was very personable and likable on stage and she and her band delivered a masterful performance. The guitarist Gerry Miller was the obvious virtuoso, but the whole band was tight and in sync, with Eilen providing the emotional context and ballast to the songs. The completely unexpected and very cool encore was the Doors' "Soul Kitchen". They performed an awesome version!
